Thank you for your interest in helping with the Hurricane Helene REBUILD effort in Mountain City, TN. The host church will be providing food and showers. You will bring pillows, sheets, blankets, or sleeping bags. Please bring your own cots or mattresses; no queen or king size. There are some tools available but we will also take our trailer full of tools. If you have electrical or plumbing tools, please bring them with you. Deployment dates for Mountain City, TN Travel: Sunday, Oct. 5 Work: Mon. - Fri., Oct. 6-10 Return: Saturday, Oct. 11 If you would like to offer a ride or need one, please add your request and home city in the comments section of the sign-up. Also, an assignment roster with names, emails, phone numbers, and home city will be sent to everyone several days before the trip. This trip is subject to change due to weather conditions.

DR Basic Training This is training for New Volunteers and Re-Credentialing Volunteers Anyone can take the DR Basic Training, but only members of SBCV churches can be credentialed by the SBCV. October 11th, 2025 8 am - 1 pm The training is $35 for new volunteers and $20 for re-credentialing. The price includes materials, lunch, and snacks. Please pay for the course by going to https://secure.acceptiva.com/?cst=Fsxerq This training provides an overview of everything required to be deployed with a Disaster Relief team, including, Biblical foundations, evangelism, organizational protocols, and working as a member of chainsaw team, flood recovery team, and feeding team.

Location: Hampton Roads, VA Date: November 24th Volunteers Needed: 10 DR Credentials Required We will be providing lunch for 100-125 people during a Red Cross sheltering drill. This is a one-day event. There is no lodging provided.

This project will walk you through the process of taking the online basic training and credentialing. Online DR Basic Training is available at any time. For in-person training, go to the Project Catalog and sign up for the training location of your choice. If none are available in your area, we invite you to complete the process online. 1. Please sign up for a "shift" by selecting "volunteer". The date and time do not matter. 2. Once you are signed up, the list of credentials needed will appear in your "My Profile". 3. Select the yellow badge next to the credential for information on completing the necessary item. You should see yellow badges for the following credentials. Once they are completed, the badge will turn green. - Credentialing Fee - $35 first time and $20 for re-credentialing. Re-credentialing is required every 3 years. This is paid via the link provided. Follow the link provided to complete the online training at your convenience. - Photo - Please upload a photo using the link provided. - Liability Waiver - Follow the instructions provided. - Background Check - Follow the instructions provided.
